On the Spot Audition Guidelines

Participants must meet age and citizenship requirements:

You must be: (a) 16 to 30 years of age (18 to 30 years of age for persons who are not legal U.S. citizens or U.S. residents) on the date of the submission of your video audition, and if you are under 18 years of age your parent and/or legal guardian must also sign the release to be submitted with your Video Audition; and (b) either (i) a legal U.S. citizen or U.S. resident; or (ii) a citizen of another country with a valid passport who knows of no restrictions on his/her ability to legally enter the United States and qualify for appropriate work visas.

Cambio will not accept any auditions that contain the following:

• Any songs that are not on the current list of acceptable songs
• Any comments that are not related to the On the Spot program
• Any comment attacking any individual or organization
• Personal or identifying information about a person, including addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, license plate numbers, etc.
• Reference(s) to identifiable characteristics (hometowns, schools, street addresses, etc.)
• Profane, obscene, inappropriate, disruptive and unrelated content
• Indecent, profane, sexually explicit, obscene or pornographic material of any kind
• Threats, personal attacks, abusive, defamatory, derogatory, or inflammatory language, or stalking or harassment of any individual, entity or organization
• Discriminatory or hateful speech of any kind regarding age, gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation or disability
• Predatory conduct towards minors
• Libel, slander, or defamation of character of another person
• Gratuitous violence, gun or other imagery or gestures of weapons
• Nudity or sexually provocative messaging
• Political, religious content or propaganda
• Promiscuously conceived clothing

Cambio will not accept any auditions that contain the following intellectual property issues: 

• Content that appears to contain a performance that has been broadcast or streamed, published or televised on television or as part of a recording of a motion picture film or television program
• Content that appears to contain third party-created audio/recorded music and/or video
• Content that appears to contain readily recognizable commercial products such as branded clothing and other goods and packaged goods
• Content that appears to contain or reference third party trademarks
• Content that appears to contain depictions of third party owned images, even where they appear in the background or briefly (including buildings, architecture, sculpture and art)
• Content that appears to contain names, videographs, voices, or other likeness of celebrities, either living or dead, including both favorable and unfavorable portrayals or depictions
• Clothing worn in the video should not contain any visible logos, drawings, cartoons, phrases, trademarks or other third-party materials.
